Do you love spreading the word about good things? Want to help spread a message of inclusion and help to recruit volunteers and athletes? This is primarily a remote opportunity but we'd really like someone who would be able to attend occasional meetings or events in person in the Gaston County area.
Special Olympics North Carolina is seeking a responsible volunteer to serve as Social Media Coordinator in Gaston County. The Social Media Coordinator will make connections through social media to promote the Special Olympics program and its benefits to its athletes. If you live in Gaston County and would like to volunteer in your local community, the responsibilities are listed below.
Responsibilities:
- Make connections within the local area through social media accounts.
- Maintain and update our Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as other social media.
- Volunteer approximately two hours a week virtually on a flexible schedule.
- Attend one virtual meeting a month.
- Experience with utilizing social media platforms.
