Represent Resonate Resource in Collaboration w/ Julian Peña Gallery & Studio

We are currently seeking a passionate, creative volunteer interested in the arts to provide assistance with social media marketing, community outreach, to be present for two shifts a week (2PM-7PM, currently need Wed and Sat filled) and gallery/studio space maintenance.

Incentives include free usage of the studio space along with dedicated art supplies. On top of that, you will have access to professional development and art event opportunities. We want to cultivate this space for art making and design while incubating your professional studio practice. This opportunity isn't just for artists of course, but all kinds of creatives that could benefit from working in a commercial space on Bellevue Ave. The space itself offers wide windows so the community can see the art and see REAL ARTISTS AT WORK! You're also more than welcomed (and encouraged) to bring in your own art supplies/tools within reasonable means. Future opportunities include running sliding scale art workshops for the community and other roles that require leadership.

Check out to learn more about the space itself and the services it provides as a for-profit business. Represent Resonate Resource (501c3 nonprofit organization) works in tandem with Julian Peña Gallery to elevate local under-represented artists through representation, art shows/social media, and providing art resources such as supplies and equipment. We are proud to have a selection of board members who are representing various demographics who needs to most resources. Ideally we would love to prioritize applicants who fit within those demographics of need (under-represented includes BIPOC, women, LGBTQA+, and other marginalized communities).

Skills that would help you and us thrive the most (but not mandatory):

  • Social media savvy (HUGE PLUS!!!)
  • Graphic design (the owner is also a freelance designer)
  • Web design (we use Wix, so not heavy coding or anything)
  • People-friendly
  • Sales
  • Artistic skills (We would love our volunteers to want to use the space)
  • Marketing & PR
  • Nonprofits
  • Community building experiences
  • Personal local creative network

We have a security camera installed within our small space and other safety measures to continue fostering a safe space for our creatives. We ask that you are vaccinated and are ok with complying to COVID mandates to keep our constituents safe and happy.

We are also right next to Ghost Note Coffee and Sushi Maki.

1 Shift

  • 02:00 PM to 07:00 PM
We are seeking volunteers to utilize the studio space and be present for potential walk-ins during hours of operation.
