Community Helpdesk Administrator (Volunteer Role - No Salary)

Games for Love is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that works to ease suffering, save lives, and create sustainable futures for children. We believe in the concept of "distraction therapy" and bring the joy of gaming into the lives of our junior gamers in hospitals around the country. We plan to help 10 million kids in the next 5 years. We have a healthy ecosystem to achieve that goal with your intelligent contribution.

We are seeking a volunteer Community Helpdesk Administrator to join our Projects team.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and Respond quickly to Games For Love Community Questions
1. Using the following Applications and Platforms: Discord, Google Docs, Games for Love Community Drive, Google Workspace, GSuite, Trello, and Github
2. Create Announcements to the Games For Love Community
3. Various Project Lead Coordination, acting as a support for any issues or challenges

Requirements:

1. Able to donate approx. 5 -10 hrs. a week
2. Approximately 1 year experience in Application Administration
1. Experience with Discord, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Workspace, GSuite, Trello, and or Github
3. Strong interpersonal skills that support activities to improve the individual, program, and organizational performance (e.g., encouragement, optimism, compassion, empathy, resilience, recognition of the value of performance improvement)
