The Lord's Place, a nonsectarian social service agency working to end homelessness, is seeking volunteers to take food orders and, at times, run food, at our Joshua Deli. The deli is a training ground for our culinary apprentices and helps generate revenue for our life-changing programs. Must be able to stand on your feet for 4 hours.

Supportive Housing
Our supportive housing model gives our clients the time that they need in a stable, safe environment to address the issues that led to their homelessness.
Job Training & Placement
Our Job Training and Placement Program addresses the need for homeless men and women to regain economic self-sufficiency. The program assists clients in finding and maintaining employment by offering job training, placement and education programs.
Social Enterprise:
Our Social Enterprise businesses - the Cafe Joshua kitchen and our Joshua Thrift Stores - allow us not only the opportunity to hire as many of our own clients as we can, but it affords our clients the opportunity to develop their hard and soft work skills in a supportive environment.
