Are you passionate about community-building with a social justice and racial equity lens on? We are seeking volunteers to help build a more diverse and inclusive community through supporting B.R.A.V.E.’s mission, programs, and community events. Volunteer opportunities include supporting us with community outreach, events planning and logistics, administrative support, promotions, and small group facilitation through hands-on activities and exposure to a wide range of community events and projects.

  • Assist with general administrative support, including the coordination of free monthly BRAVE Communities Conversation, Real Talk series, and BRAVE Fest.
  • Assist with technical support to host virtual and/or hybrid activities (ie: Zoom and other platforms, etc)
  • Correspond with panelists, volunteers, community members, venues, media, and partners to arrange logistics for events
  • Coordinate with marketing and outreach team to discuss event promotions and tagging partners and collaborators
  • Maintain up-to-date information in database and Google drive for community events and programs
  • Volunteers interested in serving as a small group facilitator, will be trained with a two-part workshop.
