Academic internship for a graduate or undergraduate student in any field of study, but optimal for students in social work, public health, nursing, psychology, gender studies or related fields as well as seasoned professionals and/or returnees.
Individuals will have the opportunity to conduct health promotion outreach for tobacco, cancer, diabetes, HIV prevention, and self-care strategies to help to research health disparities, and assist with organizing health and wellness related events.
Individuals will learn the process involved in outreach, group facilitation and event organizing and moderating. Interns will support Zoom group facilitation, Facebook Group moderation for focused on caregiver social support, selfcare strategies and positive psychology.

The Caregiver Wellness Collective Inc. provides holistic wellness education and services to Caregivers- inclusive of family, chosen family (LGBTQ) and professional.
Description
This is a new nonprofit start up that offers virtual holistic wellness education and services aimed at Caregivers including an online Yoga4Caregivers community and a new LGBTQ Caregiver Center. Our goal is to expand access to holistic wellness to Caregivers. We are volunteer based and rely on volunteer yoga teachers and wellness providers to assist in the delivery of services. We also contract wellness education and services with health organizations and other businesses to generate revenue to sustain out free services to Caregivers.
