Join the HopeMatch Phone Team and call deserving families in the Charlotte, NC area who are needing a little extra holiday support this year. The volunteer will work virtually and choose a morning, afternoon, or evening shift weekly between 10/4-11/24. We operate in East Coast time.

Volunteers who fit best for this role are detailed, patient, have good customer service skills and are able to communicate with our leaders and follow detailed directions correctly.

Volunteers will call families to surprise them with a Christmas sponsorship for their entire family, then take down detailed wish lists of needs/wants for each family member and input them into an online database. Attention to detail, spelling, and communication both with the families and leader in a timely manner is a must since this is a virtual role. It is a very rewarding opportunity that you can do from the comfort of your own home!

It is best for you to be able to use a computer or tablet for this role and you would need to use your own phone to make texts/calls.

Mandatory Training is required. Please only apply if you are available on weekdays during the daytime hours.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide HOPE by matching local needs with compassionate givers as we aspire to bring lasting HOPE and encouragement to the unseen and under-served in our community.

Our organization is all about serving those who are overlooked within our community. Many families work hard to make ends meet, yet do not qualify for government financial aid. These are the people HopeMatch is dedicated to serving through various programs that intentionally meet physical and personal needs.
