Mission Statement

Quigley’s Shelter Pets is a no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to aiding cats and other unwanted or abandoned small pet animals. We are located in northeastern PA, near Scranton.

Description

We focus on rescuing cats that are less adoptable due to age, handicap, or temperament. For more than a decade, our founders have worked tirelessly to aid abandoned and at-risk pets. Along the way, we realized that many good people just like you want to help. So, we formalized these combined efforts toward a shared goal.

Quigley’s Shelter Pets is an expression of love. It is where caring people "Lend-a-Heart":

  • We rescue sick, injured, or at-risk cats or other small homeless animals in our area of operation, who then receive immediately-needed veterinary care.
  • We are a no-kill organization.
  • We provide permanent shelter, food, loving attention, and ongoing medical care.
  • We are willing to rescue pets that are less adoptable due to age, handicap, or temperament, giving them a home-like environment for the rest of their lives.
