Pawsitive Partners volunteer directly with Therapy Animals & their handlers, serving children with Autism for 1 hour on a weekly or monthly basis. They run a provided activity and help with animal interactions. All training and lessons are provided.
Volunteer hours will take place at an Autism school in Goodyear, zip code 85338, and there are two opportunities.
Elementary Campus (weekly)
Wednesdays 12:30-1:30 p.m.

To provide Animal Assisted Therapy to individuals with special needs, allowing them the opportunity to build animal human friendships, while simultaneously working on individual therapy goals.
Description
We provide Animal Assisted Therapy to individuals with special needs in a clinical and educational setting. We work with Therapists as well as Teachers as a team to assist the children in reaching their personal goals.
