We're looking for some lovely people to engage with seniors in our Skilled Nursing facility, particularly in our garden area while the weather is still warm! You would simply be sitting and chatting with our residents while they enjoy a bit of fresh air on nice days.
Our schedule is very flexible, just let us know when you'd be available to sit for an hour anywhere between the hours of 10am-11:30am Monday thru Friday (weather permitting of course). It can be once a week or once every other week, whatever you have available!
No experience is needed and our nurses will help the residents going in and out, so you won't need to assist them in pushing their wheelchairs.
*Due to our current covid restrictions, all volunteers are required to have received the covid vaccine as well as the booster.
