Courageous Connections partners with Alpine Ridge and H.O.M.E. - Helping Our Miniature Equines, a nonprofit. We are blessed to have the use of their facility and their four-legged friends. We want to help spread the word and increase volunteers to help with barn paining and other activities around the barn.

We are asking for you to join us join the fun as we work and play at Alpine Ridge. We are hosting a work day at the "mini farm" on September 25th from 9-12. The major focus will be painting the barn, so please dress appropriately with old clothes and shoes/boots that can get splattered. There may also be cleanup activities as well as barn work.

Please bring along a personal water bottle and we will have refills available. We would love to see some of our current and past volunteers as well as friends and supporters of Courageous Connections come out and get reacquainted as we help Alpine Ridge and the mini rescue.

The event is scheduled for three hours however if you can't stay the entire time that's just fine. Please consider signing up and include a note with how long you anticipate you can stay. Also, please consider bringing a friend or two! The more the merrier!

We will be providing specific details including location a couple of days before the event.

About Courageous Connections

Location:

9114 131st Ave NE, Lake Stevens, WA 98258, US

Mission Statement

To promote the physical and emotional development of people of all ages and abilities through safe, therapeutic, outdoor experiences.

Description

We are excited to be able to offer equine assisted learning all year round as we now have a space with a covered arena. With all that has gone on in the world around us in the past two years it is more important than ever to have a safe space to explore how you are feeling, how you interact with others and practice self care. Horses have an amazing way of gently helping us 'see' our own behavior and how it might impact those around us. We offer individual class as well as workshops for special groups like Cancer Life Line.
