NoSchoolViolence is creating a new research team project focused on the simple question of why isn't there been significant progress in reducing school violence during the last 50 years. Why hasn't there been a national initiative committed to reducing school violence?

Our research team will focus on the following areas: the psychological, sociological, economic, and demographic causes of school violence; the role media plays in creating social constructions of school violence; the role that violent games may play in influencing a child's violent behaviors, and applying several new social theories to offer a new view of what dynamics are involved in school violence.

Our research team will work collaboratively with a goal of producing research that will be a particular value to parents, teachers, school administrators, academic researchers, and educational policy analysts.

We welcome individuals who like working together on our project that will have profound and significant value for the public as well as for each team member.
