FOOD MARKET STOCKER
Position Summary:
Stock and organize the market shelves with donated items in our warehouse for our clients
We take pride in making the market look the best for every single client that walks through so if you're somebody who enjoys making things look nice and organized this is the volunteer opportunity for you!
Volunteer Commitment:
Participate in at least two volunteer shifts per year
Availability:
3 hours Monday-Thursday. Flexible hours; from morning to evening
Desired Qualifications:
- Able to stand and walk around for 3 hours at a time
- Able to lift boxes of food up to 25lbs
- Excellent people skills
- Timeliness and dependability

To provide emergency food and clothing to Anoka County residents in need while maintaining the dignity of those we serve.
Description
ACBC Food Shelf was started in 1971 to help hungry neighbors in the community. Throughout the years, the food shelf has evolved into a client choice shopping model where participants are able to shop for their food no different than in a grocery store. Participants are able to shop for food and clothing once per month and on average take home about 90 pounds of groceries for their family.
We could not serve close to 900 families a month without our awesome volunteer team! Over 100 volunteers help us each month working during our food distributions, behind the scenes sorting donations, stocking shelves, helping with admin work and more!
