The Director of Community Outreach at YHC will lead the Community Outreach Team in the planning and implementation of outreach strategies. They are responsible for connecting our organization to the broader community by cultivating relationships with similar organizations, event participants, and the individuals we serve. The Director of Community Outreach will work closely with the Director of Community Programming to understand the outreach needs of the organization.

Duties Included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a directory of all contacts, partners, and our audience

• Establishing connections with organizations or individuals with a relevant mission

• Attend and lead collaboration meetings with external partners

• Manage and delegate tasks to Community Outreach Associates

• Maintain communication with external partners and panelists

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in areas such as marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field of study.

• Exemplary oral, written, and public speaking communication skills.

• A strong personal presentation.

• Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.

• Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.

• Strong networking capabilities and relevant soft skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
