Our yearly Pick a Purse Event is one of the most awaited events of the year!
Volunteers will be helping with:
8 am - 11 am Set up which includes: Setting up display purses; placing goodie bags on each seat, literature on tables; flowers on tables; set up purse raffle table; set up retractable banners.
10 AM - 11:30 AM - Greets to greet guests as they come off of the escalator.
10 AM - 11:30 AM - Registration
10 AM - NOON - Sell Opportunity Tickets for a designer purse
11:30 - 3 PM - Purse Table Guards
3:30 - 4:30 PM - Breakdown, clean-up and loading (into designated vehicles) the retractable banners; leftover literature on tables, pack up any leftover purses.
For any who live near Olive Crest office in Santa Ana, we could also use your help unloading anything leftover there.
VOLUNTEERS will be given a wonderful lunch and receive a goodie bag!

Description
In 1973, Dr. Donald and Lois Verleur took in four teenage girls and opened their first home for children in Orange County, California. Drawing from the olive tree in the front yard and the idea of a family crest, Olive Crest, a name symbolizing "peaceful family," was born.
Today, more than 40 years later, Olive Crest has grown to become a leader in the prevention and treatment of child abuse, serving nearly 3,000 children and families each day throughout California, Nevada, and the Pacific Northwest.
Though four decades have passed, the Verleurs’ original commitment to the individual needs of at-risk youth continues to fuel Olive Crest’s mission to make a difference "One Life at a Time"
