Volunteer Day with the Butterflies! Come Join the Fun!

WHERE: 5302 Rancho Road, Huntington Beach 92647 (see attached map)

WHAT TO BRING: Drinking water, snacks, sunscreen, and hat.Bring your own gardening gloves or use a pair of ours!

Volunteers are needed to assist with creating habitat for our local Monarch Butterfly population. Volunteer tasks will include planting, watering, weeding, raking, planting seeds, collecting seeds etc. Master Gardeners will be on site to answer questions and teach about the importance of butterflies.

Families are welcome and children 5 and up may volunteer.

Volunteers should bring gloves, hat and wear tennis shoes and sunscreen. Bring drinking water as there is none on site.
Restrooms are not available so plan ahead!

The Monarch Nature Trail is located near 5302 Rancho Road. You can park on Spa Drive and enter the Monarch Nature Trail off of Rancho Road. The entrance is an opening in the chain link fence.
You can call 714 215 7480 the morning of the event if you need assistance.

The Monarch Nature Trail is a habitat for Orange County's Monarch Butterfly population. The mission of the Monarch Nature Trail is to help increase our local butterfly population by increasing available food and shelter for these amazing creatures. We strive to educate volunteers on the important role these pollinators play in our local ecosystem and what individuals can do at home to assist the butterflies.
