Marketing Plan Strategist - Virtual Volunteer

We are seeking a data-driven marketing mind to keep our marketing plan updated and focused. We have completed a marketing plan that promotes our cause and would like to review each section for updates. The Marketing Strategist will also help us maintain competitive advantages by collaborating with other marketing teammates.

Responsible for reviewing and analyzing current marketing plan and identify sections needing updates

• Extrapolate objectives for developing a cohesive strategy for the organization
• Assess market conditions and develop updates that create competitive advantage
• Responsible for updating the marketing plan based on refreshed research
• Collaborate with internal and external partners
• Bachelor degree in Marketing or relevant field
• Proven work experience as a marketing strategist, preferably with a nonprofit
• Proficiency with social media
• Understanding of market research and data analysis
• Familiarity with Google analytics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of 5 volunteer hours per week
• PMs Minimum volunteer hours 10 hours per week for at least 6 months
• Must be responsive to all messages within 24 hours
• Excellent time management skills
• Highly collaborative style; experience working in a virtual environment highly preferred
• Proficiency with Google Suite Apps such as Drive, Sheets, etc. and familiarity with Trello & Slack
• Enjoys creating & implementing initiatives
• Detail-oriented, organized, consistently communicates, and deadline-driven
• Motivated self starter and entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Experience or knowledge working in a Non-profit or social issues preferred
