ORGANIZATION: Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care of Colorado Springs

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 2 people are interested

Did you serve in the Military? Do you want to give back to your community and specifically Veterans? Be someone's hero by becoming a hospice volunteer. You create a sacred space with your presence that only another veteran can provide.
If you're interested, you can also provide pinning / honor ceremonies to Veterans by presenting them with a certificate and pin commemorating their service.
As a Veteran-to-Veteran Hospice Volunteer, you get special training to spend time with Veterans as they near the end of their lives.
You must pass a background check, complete orientation (at your own pace) and complete mentoring.
For more information, please contact CJ Pharr, Volunteer Coordinator for Colorado Palliative and Hospice Care at cpharr@coloradophc.com or 720-390-1276
