Summit Academy OIC is looking for a reading/writing volunteer to lead adult education classes. Students in the Summit Prep program are working on improving their reading scores for the TABE and GED tests. The math class runs from 10:30-12:00pm, Monday-Friday. All lesson plans and materials are provided.

Currently, the class is running in a flexible model (some students on campus and some in-person). The volunteer can choose whether or not they want to teach online or in-person depending on their comfort level. All students, staff, and volunteers are expected to wear a mask, fill out the health survey, and do a temperature check daily.

All volunteers will need to a 12-hour volunteer training before they are able to teach in the classroom.
