Have you ever wanted to step back to a simpler way of life? Quilting is a beautiful art form that has been bringing people together for centuries. In the early days of our community, a quilting bee would be organized as a social gathering to connect neighbors, friends, and family. Quilting bees resulted in many beautiful quilts being artfully stitched and passed down from generation to generation.
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at quilting, but do not know where to start? Rock Springs Nature Center has a volunteer quilting group that meets on Wednesday mornings, 9-11am. All levels of experience are invited to join the group. The group loves to talk about their current projects and delight in teaching others how to quilt.
