Volunteering with Brookdale Hospice

ORGANIZATION: CAREtenders Hospice

Brookdale Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals who want to make a difference by providing companionship visits to patients on hospice services. Volunteers may visit patients living at home and in nursing facilities. Volunteer companionship visits can include, but are not limited to reading with the patient, watching television or a movie, playing a game, going outside for fresh air or simply just being present and having a conversation. The need for companionship seems greater than ever, as we all emerge from so many months of not being able to see and touch those we love most. There is no physical care involved. Hours are flexible. If you are interested in making a difference please call Brookdale hospice (248) 727-2323 or email us at chaddad@brookdale.com
