Project MORE

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Help us host this year's Qmunity Skate and Ice Queens at Downtown Ice San Jose. This event showcases queer culture during the holidays with a queen skate, meet & greet, queer vendors, and "HoliGay" performances. Between performances skate to a generous mixture of seasonal favorites, top 40 hits, and queer anthems by DJ. Then cap off the evening with more holiday cheer by enjoying San José traditions Christmas in the Park and Winter Wonderland.

Qmunity Skate and Ice Queens relies on friendly community volunteers to help with event set-up, reception, guest service, games, and teardown activities. If you’re motivated by doing MORE for your community, there are several ways to help. Bring your skills and positive energy, and we promise to provide a good experience and lots of fun.

Volunteers will receive the following complimentary elements:

  • Community service credit
  • Refreshments
  • Great time!
