Elder Wisdom Circle

Image_202103160926

Ever wish you had a cyber-grandparent you could go to for empathetic and helpful advice for any dilemma you might be dealing with? Well, such a service exists with the Elder Wisdom Circle (ElderWisdomCircle.org) founded in 2001 with almost 500,000 one-on-one interactions.

Lately, fewer young people are finding our organization which is why we are looking for volunteers who are active on social media with an engaged base of followers. For this six-month assignment you would post to your network once per week with content we supply (you can edit to fit your style). You will work on your own schedule from home. The objective is to encourage your network to engage and request advice. We have a way to track your referrals and will offer small prizes and of course bragging rights to the influencer with the most referrals each week.

Thanks for considering our opportunity, we'd love to connect with you.

Mission Statement

Elder Wisdom Circle pairs online advice seekers in their teens, 20's and 30's with a nationwide network of Cyber-Grandparents, aged 60 to 105, who share their know-how and accumulated wisdom.

Description

We are a web-based nonprofit service organization that pairs online advice seekers in their teens, 20's and 30's with a nationwide network of Cyber-Grandparents, aged 60 to 105, who share their hard-earned knowledge and wisdom. Our Elder members participate individually from their home computers or in groups at retirement communities (with the help of a facilitator). Anyone with access to the Internet can request anonymous advice on any topic and will receive a personalized e-mail response in return. The voice of experience is hip, sincere, and highly sought after by people of all ages; we are the most popular source of free online advice in the country. The Elder Wisdom Circle has been featured on ABC, CBS, BBC, NPR and in many publications including USA Today and Time.
