"Come take a haunted walk through Chintimini Park as it's inhabited by a cast of roving frights and fun. Bring your friends, get spooked and have fun for a cause! Park in the Dark supports the Parks & Recreation Scholarship Fund. Drinks and treats will be available for purchase from the Coffee Leaf Cafe'."

Volunteer Roles for this Event:

Event Setup:This role will help set-up the elements of the event. This can include decorating, setting up tables, canopies, signs and the physical environment of the event. This role would be best for someone that has the ability to lift up to 20 lbs and bend over to place or pick up objects. Oct. 28 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.10-20 Volunteers needed!

Event Actors:These roles will be key! During the event, actors will roam their specific area and play their part. Some will have roles that act out a short scene with other actors and some will lurk in the shadows delivering mild scares. This role is best for those that love the spirit of Halloween, love to get dressed up and are natural performers. Oscar worthy performances not required ... just a zest for fun! Oct. 28 & 29 from 5:30-9:30 p.m.20-30+ Volunteers needed!

Event Tear Down:This role will help break down the physical environment of the event such as canopies, tables, chairs, décor, etc. This role would be best for someone that has the ability to lift up to 20 lbs and bend over to place or pick up objects. Oct. 31 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.10-20 Volunteers needed!
