We are looking for registration volunteers, bid spotters for our live auction, silent auction assistant, and other roles for the night of our annual fundraising gala!!!
Organization: Best Buddies
Date: Friday, November 12,2021
Time: Approx. 6pm-11pm
Where: Valley Mansion, Cockeysville, MD
Ages of Volunteers: High school through adult
Duties:
- Help register people/check people in as they arrive at the venue for the start of the event
- Help with silent auction - answer questions if needed, keep an eye on items, etc.
- Help with registration at end of night where people pick up their silent auction items
- Bid spotters are needed during the event to help spot paddles that attendees hold up to bid on items. You also will help rally and excite the crowd with noisemakers, acting excited, etc.
- Assistant to Auctioneer: needs neat handwriting. Will write down all the bids and the winning bid numbers as the auctioneer calls them.
- Other help as needed, such as: decor setup, tear down, etc.
