Hiking with Athletes who are Blind or Visually Impaired
Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be holding a hiking experience for athletes who are blind and visually impaired. We are looking for volunteers to assist in guiding our athletes through the hike. Volunteers should be experienced hikers, but do not need to have previous experience working with individuals who are blind or visually impaired. We encourage anyone with an interest in hiking, sports, and helping others to come and join us on this hike! Please visit the following website to sign up for this event: https://app.etapestry.com/onlineforms/NorthwestAssociationforBlin/Volunteer.html

P.O. Box 65265, Vancouver, WA 98665, US
To provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life. Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
