Quick Overview: Looking for a passionate, motivated volunteer with experience in finance management!

Impact: S.Y.STEM Coalition's mission is to be a guiding path for youth (K-12) as they acknowledge and experience the opportunities STEM can provide them and their communities.

Mission: SYSTEM Coalition started 5 years ago in Tucson, AZ. 6 exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping K-12 students find a passion for STEM. We saw all of the poverty in our city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 100 volunteers, chapters in 3 different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has shown me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time!

Roles & Responsibilities: This position will research opportunities for a nonprofit to obtain grants, sponsorships and relations with companies who look to support youth educational development. Establishing connections while working to secure funding is the name of the game for this position as our rising nonprofit organization looks to reach out to as many kids as possible in the LA community.
