Overview: We are looking for volunteers to deliver meals to our seriously ill neighbors. Delivery routes are an opportunity to not only deliver much needed medically-tailored meals to people in need, but also a smile and compassion. In this time of COVID, our clients have been more isolated than ever and need these nutritious meals delivered to their door. Our volunteers bring hope and nutrition to those struggling with hunger and illness. Join us at Project Angel Food!

Mission: Project Angel Food provides free and nutritious meals to men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. Volunteers and staff cook and deliver more than 13,000 meals a week to 1,600 clients of all ages and backgrounds.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities:

Meals are picked up Monday thru Friday between 9am -10am.

There are 10 stops on each route and it usually takes about 2 hours to complete.

Routes will be determined based on Dispatch/Staff Driver needs and your location preferences/limitations and availability. Route areas may change for each delivery date.

Drivers must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and their own vehicle.

During this period of COVID-19 pandemic, we have added precautions to our program, for the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff. This is non-contact delivery.
