Quick Overview: Every Tuesday and Thursday we feed up to 600 families at our Food Bank. We could not do this without our volunteers! We prepare and bag available fresh food, then distribute it along with boxed food from LA Regional Food Bank at our 2-4 contactless stations. There is a role for everyone!

Impact: We provide food and services to our drive-through and walk-up clients. We impact up to 600 families every Tuesday and Thursday.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:

Volunteers pack and prepare fresh food. This is teamwork.

Volunteers distribute this10lb bag and a 10lb box of food to each car trunk.

Contactless distirbution, food is placed in the trunk. Teamwork!

Some volunteers will direct traffic.

Some volunteers will help register clients by asking 4 simple questions.

Requirements:

We only require that volunteers be able to work on a team without direct supervision.

Wear comfortable clothes that might get dirty. Wear closed toed shoes for safety.

We will supply all PPE. We are fully masked and gloved throughout the Our Saviour Center Food Bank. All positions are outside.

Additional Details: Volunteer shift is 8:30am 1:15pm. There is no parking on our campus. Please park on the street.
