Hello! We are a group of passionate folk who believe in our mission to preserve, restore, maintain the historic structures on Plum and Pilot Islands located in Door County Wisconsin. Not only do we do historic preservation work but we also get to play in the most glorious setting of the Green Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
Here's your chance to become one of our esteemed volunteer leaders and work alongside of awesome folk just like you!
In this role you will create our awe inspiring newsletter (check it out at https://www.plumandpilot.org/past-newsletter.html) using Microsoft Publisher 4 times a year. You will work with our board and fellow volunteer leaders to source content and build the newsletter using our tried and true format. Once the newsletter has been proofed you'll send it to the printer and begin preparing for the next newsletter.

The mission of the Friends of Plum and Pilot Islands is to partner with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to support the preservation, restoration, maintenance, and contemporary use of the historic resources on Plum and Pilot Islands, and to conserve and protect wildlife resources, while providing opportunities for quality wildlife-dependent recreation.
Description
The Friends of Plum and Pilot Islands is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a governing board. We are always looking for interested Board Members and community volunteers to help with our leadership efforts.
