ORGANIZATION: Bay Area Discovery Museum

Come volunteer at the Bay Area Discovery Museum and unleash your inner child!

Each volunteer will be pair with an Experience Facilitator, our trained floor staff. Volunteers will work as a team with the Experience Facilitators to observe guest safety and fun! Some examples of volunteer tasks are resetting spaces, facilitating art projects, assisting in clean up, engaging with children and families on the floor.

The Bay Area Discovery Museum is nearly 7 acres of indoor and outdoor experiences. Our campus hosts 4 brand new exhibits. We serve an audience between the ages of 1-10 and focus on inspiring problem solving and curiosity. Can you engage a child or family in thought in our flower-making space? Can you encourage a child to take a new risk on our large outdoor play exhibit, Gumnut Grove?

Volunteer at BADM where your service will inspire fun and growth for all ages!

***Our campus takes COVID precautions to protect our staff and our visitors. Black masks are required by staff while working on the museum floor. Visitors 2+ are required to wear masks indoors, while outdoor masking is optional. A large portion of the museum is outside with a consistent wind flow thanks to our location on the shore of the Bay.
