Madison Fields is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping riders of all abilities reach their personal goals. We serve children and adults with a variety of disabilities. Some riders are independent with mild impairments, while other riders depend on volunteers to help them balance or focus on directions. Volunteers help riders accomplish these goals every session.
There are three different volunteer opportunities within the therapeutic riding program: side walkers, horse leaders, and barn assistants. All of our volunteers participate in a Volunteer Orientation held at Madison Fields. We provide training and support, so you will be fully prepared to assist our riders. Previous horse experience is helpful, but not required!
Dates: Our needs vary slightly with each session, but we will make sure you feel prepared to help each session you sign up for! Lessons take place Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
