Million Reasons After-school Program Descriptions

Million Reasons offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for High school students, College students, and Retired teachers. The programs range from subject-matter tutoring, homework help, and academic mentoring. Volunteers help our students to achieve both academic and social skills, and help them to navigate their academic journey in an effective way.

Homework Help- Volunteers help our students to comprehend what they learned in school on that particular day in addition to completing their homework assignments in a timely manner.

Program starts on Monday, September 11.

Academic Tutoring - Volunteers support our high school students to succeed in various subjects while in a one-on-one setting.

Academic subjects: Geometry, Algebra, Physics, Chemistry, Biology

Mode of Tutoring: Online, One-on- One

Minimum Commitment: 1 hour per week

When: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Flexible hours. Tutors can pick the day, time, and number of hours they would like to work.

Open only to volunteers from the United States.
