Read On! is an online reading tutoring program where community volunteers can remotely deliver literacy skills activities to students in the classroom or at home. 916 Ink works with our partnering educators to identify students who are behind in grade level reading. Read On! is effective at reducing the literacy gap for students who participate. We are currently seeking volunteers for the 2021-2022 school year. Volunteers are expected to attend trainings and undergo a background check. Volunteers meet with students for three hours per week. The Fall program starts September 20 and will run through December 10. Individual start times may vary. If interested, please fill out our Volunteer Application Form here: https://forms.office.com/r/6h9gY5Mfps
