Atascadero Colony Days Parade will be held at 10 a.m. in Atascadero from Lewis Ave to Capistrano Ave (The parade crosses the Arch Bridge, continuing straight as Lewis Ave becomes Capistrano Ave, heading Southeast toward CA-41)
From Capistrano Ave to CA-41 Intersection then to El Camino Real. The parade then turns on to West Mall. We are looking for some awesome volunteers to help with parade staging, parade check-in, road closures and flow of the parade. Your help is crucial to keep parade participants safe. We also have opportunities for the festival after the parade.

To promote and enhance the shared sense of identity of our community through an annual parade and festival.
Description
Colony Days began in 1973, as a celebration of the community of Atascadero. Since then, it has held a parade each year since 1974.
It is held on the first Saturday of October. The Atascadero Colony Days Committee is the force behind the annual celebration.
We are a 501(c)3 volunteer-led non-profit and are fully supported by the community since its inception.

- This is a Done in a Day opportunity and there is no prior training or ongoing commitment needed.
- Must be at least 16
- Orientation or Training
- 2 hours or more depending on the shift
- Sign a volunteer waiver on-site. Will be having an orientation meeting before event to pass out passes and t-shirts. Meal ticket provided.
