Program Overview:
Echelon is a community of diverse young adults collectively rising up to serve our community through the mission of The Salvation Army in service, fundraising, fellowship and ministry. Members will build their network and develop professionally through opportunities to exchange ideas and hear from local leaders in the community.
Echelon Fundraising Chairperson -Board of Directors:
Echelon’s Leadership Team is integral in shaping the Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter of The Salvation Army’s young professional group. The Fundraising Chairperson is responsible for ensuing that all events are being utilized as give-back or fundraising opportunities. This chairperson will work closely with the chairperson for events to design social and networking events wherein The Salvation Army is benefitted, whether financially, via item donation or volunteer recruitment. This may include organizing raffle or auction items, and support membership renewal efforts.

Description
The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services.
