Role/scope of work: Create content for digital communications and marketing team. Work closely with our Communications Team while managing social engagement by responding to all social media messages and direct outreach. Report monthly on social following and tracking data.

Skills needed/proficiency: Computer, Database, Analytical, and Marketing skills are a must. Applicants should be comfortable with scheduling, managing and reporting social media content.

Location: Remote, preferably based in California

Timeline: The volunteer could assist on a specific project, or join Wells of Life for a longer term. This opportunity is for an unpaid volunteer that is to be completed remotely for 10-15 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• knowledge of general social media practices, nonprofit organizations, database proficiency, and computer skills
• Excellent content creation skills
• Proven critical-thinking skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team structure
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Expectations

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will meet with the Communications team monthly to discuss the marketing strategy and promotions for the following month. They will meet with the Director of Communications on a weekly basis to discuss tasks completed the prior week and priority of projects for the upcoming week. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will report results of all digital marketing efforts on a weekly/monthly basis.
