Fall Championships is one of Special Olympics Virginia's state level competitions, held at the end of the fall season in Virginia Beach. Approximately 1,000 Special Olympics athletes from across Virginia are selected to go for the gold in bowling, bocce, golf, volleyball, roller skating, and soccer competitions. Fall Championships also features a Saturday evening Opening Ceremony, where we light the Flame of Hope to "open" the Championships.

There are many locations and many shifts available. Please visit https://www.cervistech.com/acts/webreg/eventwebreglist.php?org_id=0218 to see all of the options. Be the reason that someone smiles. We hope to see you there!!

Please note:

  • In order to create the safest environment possible for the athletes of Special Olympics Virginia we are asking that volunteers be vaccinated and wear masks while on site. (We are asking the same of athletes and coaches)
  • We request that all volunteers be age 14 or older.
  • Please call or email the event organizer if you would like to register someone below the age of 14 or have any questions regarding our safety precautions.

Please reach out to Izzy Nelson at inelson@specialolympicsvirginia.org or 757-962-1575 with any questions or concerns.
