Sanctuary Hostel located in Rosarito, MX is a project to create an eco friendly animal shelter/ hostel/ community garden where we will work with other nonprofits in both Mexico and the US specifically San Diego, CA. Our model plans to be self-sustaining in that we will not rely solely on donations and thus not be at risk of returning animals to the streets. We have the land and are working with an architect to design custom buildings.
As we are a brand new non profit organization we want to bring people into our organization to help us make this a successful project that can act as a model for animal rescues worldwide.
Currently we need some legal support reviewing, for example, documents Bylaws and contracts, and understanding nonprofit regulations applicable to US/Mexico nonprofits. We are looking for a pro bono lawyer passionate about our mission who is available for legal support for ad hoc reviews and questions.
In this role, you will work with Board of Directors and Advisory Council members. Our ideal individual will be honest, reliable, responsive, and direct.

Description
We are building an animal shelter/ hostel/ community garden. Our model aims to be self sufficient so we wont rely on donations in order to care for the animals we rescue. Travelers can stay and volunteer with us in exchange for a bed. The community can learn to grow and cook plant based meals with us.
