We need volunteers to help take care of our kitties at our adoption center at PetSmart off Almaden. This includes cleaning cages, feeding kitties, and best of all play time with the kitties. Shifts are once a week and usually take about 1 to 2 hours. We have two time slots available each day between 9:30AM-12 Noon or 3:30PM-8PM. We ask that everyone at least commit to a month, but encourage to stay longer.

We ask that your are at least 16 years of age for this volunteer position. If you are under 18 years old you will need a legal guardian present each shift you volunteer for.

Description

As a new organization established in 2017, we serve the Silicon Valley. Our focus is to help the community and abandoned cats and kittens as well as to provide assistance to families and colony caregivers. We do our best to help any and all cats who need a chance to thrive. Our priority is placing each cat in our care in the best environment, suited to the cat's personality and needs.

We are a volunteer-based network of cat welfare advocates who envision a no-kill world in which every cat enjoys the good life, including the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare*.

Our network of volunteers and connections allows us to foster and adopt out cats. To find the love and security of a permanent home for our cats, we take the utmost care to ensure our feline friends are a good match for each family. We view the cats in our care, like the cats in our own homes, as FAMILY.
