ORGANIZATION: Third Avenue Charitable Organization (TACO)


Assist members of the community with clothing needs. Clients will visit table and communicate clothing needs and volunteers will become "personal shoppers". Only volunteers will be allowed in the clothing room.
Rearrange, sort and re-stock clothing inventory after event as needed. OR server coffee, breakfast sandwiches. We will assign upon arrival.

Description

TACO is actively seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of weekly events including:

Free meals are served every Monday at 4:00 pm and Friday at 9:00 am including a hot entre, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, pastries, homemade soup, oatmeal and coffee.

Twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, volunteers will package a hot to-go meal for distribution.

On Wednesdays, volunteers serve coffee, hot chocolate and pastries downstairs on the patio. Upstairs, volunteers will assist with weekly clothing needs of the community.

Additionally donations drives occur weekly Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4pm. Currently accepting ladies and men's (high demand) clothing and shoes. Items for hygiene kits travel size work great!
