Charity Challenge - Veteran Gift Bags

The Veteran Gift Bags program will benefit veterans and their families in Orange County. Our Veteran Intake Coordinator is the first person a veteran or family member encounters when visiting the Tierney Center seeking assistance. This program would give each veteran member or family a gift bag in recognition of their service.

Our goal is 50 kits in total. Suggested items can be collected in a large Ziplock bag and include:

$5 Gas cards

$5 Gift Cards to local restaurants such as In and Out, Mc Donald's, Taco Bell, etc.

$5 Gift Cards to Target, Walmart, Ralphs, Albertsons, etc.

Individually wrapped snacks such as beef jerky, cookies, candy granola bars, protein snacks, nuts, etc.

Hand sanitizer

Disposable masks

Card games

Chapstick

Small notebooks

Pens

Plain Hats or Hats with the American Flag

Movie tickets

Thermo

Coffee mugs

Water Bottles-Plastic or stainless steel

Backpacks

Fanny packs

Military Coins

Tumblers

American flag keychains
