Cancer Guides needs your help to research, collect information, and document you findings on several different cancers. Your efforts will help answer some of the questions that come with a cancer diagnosis and help to make someone's cancer journey a little less scary.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have academic research experience
  • Have a moderate knowledge of science, particularly in the medical field
  • Be able to differentiate between factual, scientific information and "internet facts"
  • Have a desire to make a positive impact by helping people

We use research and experience to support, educate, assist, and advocate for cancer patients and their loved ones, helping to remove some of the fear and uncertainty from their cancer journeys.

Description

We are a group of long-term cancer patients, medical professionals, social workers, philanthropists, researchers, and engineers who believe more can be done to make fighting cancer less scary, less frustrating, and less burdensome than it inherently already is.
