Benevolent Kicks, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) in Raleigh, North Carolina that exists to provide NEW shoes to disadvantaged and impoverished school-age children in Wake and Durham Counties. We are looking for members to join our board. We have open positions as secretary and general board members.
We are seeking individuals who can:
1. Regularly attend board meetings and important related meetings;
2. Participate actively in organizational work; and
3. Participate actively in fund raising for the organization.

Benevolent Kicks is a 501(c)(3) organization exists to provide NEW shoes to disadvantaged and impoverished school-age children in Wake and Durham Counties, NC and educates the community on this need. We believe NEW shoes support kids' health, education, and opportunity -and give them dignity, hope, and joy!
Description
A new pair of shoes can be a life altering event for a child. Self-esteem, academic achievement, and behavior improves. Smiles return and physical activity increases. A good pair of shoes is essential to healthy growth and development. Once this need is met, the child regains the confidence needed to thrive. Our vision is that, one day, every child (in America) who needs NEW shoes will have them, which allows all children to reach their fullest potential.
