Families and Friends of the Wrongfully Convicted, is a local, small and grassroots organization that helps victims and their families overcome with wrongful convictions. We provide diverse services including legal support, reentry programs, educational workshops, cure-violence workshops, socio-emotional counseling to the community, and food give-away initative.
We currently have a staff under 5, and we need to increase our capacity to be more impactful towards our fight for criminal justice.
FFWC is in need of volunteers to help support our communications and grant writing efforts. The volunteers would help put together flyers, update our brochures, send out the newsletter, post on our social media pages, develop proposals by assembling information including project nature. The volunteers schedule are not rigid and can be flexible as needed. We operate a brick and mortar location in Brooklyn, NY, but volunteers can work remotely. Please contact us if you have additional questions, your support is greatly needed and appreciated.
