Become a Materials Organizer to assist the Technical Services department at the Winter Park Library! In this volunteer position, you will learn valuable skills, such as:
- Removing old stickers and labels from books and materials
- Marking books and materials for packaging
- Packaging books and materials into their respective boxes
- Shred obsolete documents and papers when needed
Volunteers should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, punctual, a team player, and eager to learn, among the following qualifications:
- Able to handle materials with care
- Able to stand, stoop, and carry multiple books and materials
- Able to use sticker removal tools
- Regular commitment and schedule desired
- Previous experience a plus
- No experience necessary, we’ll train you!
Note: This is a short-term,temporary project.
