Synergized Society Inc. (SSI) is a non-profit organization who partners with communities to provide sustainable neighborhoods and educational resources inclusive of all. Our goal is to focus on empowering communities and invigorate economic, social, cultural, and civil independence. We are just getting started on executing our mission and are working to fill our inaugural Board of Directors as well as gather potential organizational volunteers. This will be a working board, with the expectation that the members each head up a committee that best suits their skill set and interests. Human Resources Manager performs duties at the professional level in all of the
following functional areas: employee relations, training, recruitment/employment,
affirmative action and employment equity program benefits management, performance
management, onboarding, policy development and implementation, IT management,
employment law compliance and payroll functions. This position requires an extremely
the perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the
organization. The Director must be sensitive to employee morale and organizational needs
and will work closely with the Board of Directors and members.

Essential Functions:
1. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization
employees; develops and implements policies and procedures to include the employee policies and
procedures manual.
2. Communicates with employees and management on various human resource policies, procedures,
laws, standards and other government relations.
3. Maintains employee files.
4. Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises
creates/updates job descriptions as necessary.
5. Negotiates and manages employee benefits plans, including claims resolution; communicates
benefits information to employees and manages open enrollment.
6. Manages all compliance testing including 5500, 415 Limit test, etc.
7. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and non-exempt positions, temporary employees;
manages internship partnerships and application process; conducts new-employee orientations;
monitors career-pathing program; writes and places advertisements.
8. Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and performs exit interviews.
Coaches, counsels, and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.
9. Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints.
10. Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.

Programs
Synergized Society Inc. (SSI) Residential Service & Maintenance program is a subscription-based service that provides care and repair for your home. We cover breakdowns and help manage the logistics for many of your home service needs. We also help you prevent problems with our in-depth maintenance & service program. Partner with the best local servicer providers to deliver quick and effective home repair and maintenance at a predictable cost. Additionally, one of the many benefits of subscribing to our program is the Community Rewards system, this means when you refer our service to friends and neighbors you will earn rewards, which can be used toward any future additional service. The Homeowner Rehabilitation program serves low-to-moderate income homeowners, we ensure the home is healthy, safe, and energy-efficient. This program is intended to be utilized in various ways; in collaboration with other established non-profits who share the same mission and values. As well, through our collaborative partnerships as service providers, we leverage local municipalities' funding and financing options for those ineligible for funding assistance. Our Community Outreach Program exists to educate our community with financial literacy, life skills, and housing resources. Over time, Synergized Society Inc. will serve as an invaluable resource to local businesses and communities. Thus, Restoring Togetherness in a Global Community.
