Compassionate volunteers who can speak Spanish are urgently needed to provide friendly visits to those who are suffering from a life-limiting illness. You can help someone simply by talking, reading, playing music, or holding a hand!
Volunteer visits are usually 1-2 hours once a week based on your schedule and within a manageable commute. Volunteers are provided an in-depth orientation free of charge. For more information, contact Hackensack Meridian Hospice at Hospice.Volunteer@HMHN.org.

Hackensack Meridian Hospice is one of the longest-running hospice programs in the region with over 30 years of proud service and commitment to the community. Our longevity reflects our excellent and sensitive care for patients including Veterans and individuals of diverse orientations, backgrounds, financial status and diagnoses. A member of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, we are a not-for-profit organization which serves patients who reside in Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, and Union Counties. The time and talent that volunteers give helps Hackensack Meridian Hospice provide compassionate and quality care to our patients and families.
