We are excited to partner with Kaiser Permanente and host a Healthy Aging Expo on World Heart Day, Wednesday September 29 at Greenbriar Mall from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
We'd love for you to consider joining us!
The outdoor event will encompass health screenings and community resources. Volunteers are needed for set-up, exhibitor registration/sign-in, and handing out resource bags.
We ask that volunteers be:
- compassionate, honest & dependable.
- be kind and understanding of older adults and people with disabilities.
- have a current state or federal photo ID.
Created by the World Heart Federation, World Heart Day is a global campaign, uniting people from all backgrounds in the fight against the cardiovascular disease burden. This day of awareness inspires and drives international action by encouraging heart-healthy lifestyles across the world. The Healthy Aging Expo is a unique showcase to unify the growing aging population in southwest Atlanta.
