If you are compassionate, caring, loving, and have a calling to help others, then becoming a Hospice Volunteer might be the perfect opportunity for you. Hospice care aims to provide patients with the best end of life care possible, and one of the ways we achieve this is through the generosity of volunteers. There are several different ways in which volunteers can give their time, including patient visits, facility visits, providing grief support, running errands and even administrative support. We also provide opportunities for pet therapy and music therapy for our patients. Volunteers choose how much time they can commit to hospice work, whether it be as little as two hours a month or six hours a week. All efforts are appreciated and much needed.
If any of the above opportunities interest you, we would love to have you become a part of our team! Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at (517)-703-6734 to learn more about getting involved, or send an email with your interests to andrew.keller@compassus.com
